ELDORADO RESORT CASINO UNVEILS NEW HOTEL ROOMS
Shreveport, LA ----- Eldorado Resort Casino Shreveport is proud to announce the completion of its expansive hotel room redesign, part of a recent multi-million property renovation project.
Planning for the $3 million hotel renovation began in 2008. Designed with a contemporary aesthetic, each renovated room has been fitted with Simmons Beauty Rest Granville Terrace Super Pillow Top mattresses and custom-built maple beds, entertainment centers, and desks. The rooms also feature comfortable sitting areas, luxurious overstuffed bedding, 42” flat screen televisions, refrigerators, iPod docking stations, spa-inspired marble bathrooms, and numerous other amenities.
Eldorado donated the previous hotel room furnishings, including all headboards, armoires, nightstands, tables, chairs, sofas, bedding and window coverings, to Goodwill Industries of North Louisiana. Goodwill was chosen because of their commitment to people with disabilities and other barriers to employment. States Jessie Schmidt, Goodwill’s Vice President of Resource Development, “We were
thrilled about the donation from Eldorado! Material donations are the lifeblood of our Goodwill. They help us to provide the jobs and training opportunities to move people from dependence to independence. We appreciate all that Eldorado has done to help us help people in our area.”
In addition to the hotel rooms, Eldorado’s investment in the property includes expansive floor-to-ceiling renovations to the Celebrity Lounge and the addition of Allure Ultra Lounge, which opened in July 2009.
“It is important to us to ensure we are giving our guests the very best experience possible, and we do that by continually improving our already beautiful property,” says Michael Whitemaine, Eldorado General Manager. “We are very excited about the new look of our hotel rooms, as well as Allure Ultra Lounge and the impact it has had on Shreveport-Bossier nightlife. There is no bar like it in our area, and it is a perfect complement to Celebrity Lounge.”
