Meet Our Chefs – Mario Garcia
Mario Garcia was born and raised in Guadalajara, Mexico, and attended culinary school in Reno, NV. Mario began his career in the kitchen as a dishwasher in his uncle’s Mexican restaurant in California. He then moved to Eldorado Resort Casino Reno, where he served in the position of Cook I. From there, he worked his way up in the company and currently serves as the Buffet Room Chef at Eldorado Shreveport. Mario specializes in Mexican, French, Italian, and Chinese fare. He and his wife have two beautiful children, Abraham and Judit.
