Shreveport Caribbean Stud Poker Rules and Information

Caribbean Stud Poker is an easy-to-learn game based on 5-card stud poker. To start, each player antes (with the option to play for progressive jackpot) and receives five cards facedown. The dealer gets five cards, with one face-up. After you examine your hand, you may either fold (forfeiting the ante) or make a bet that is double the amount of the ante.

If you opt to continue and the dealer doesn't qualify with an Ace and King or higher, you automatically win your ante (at 1 to 1) and push your additional wager. If the dealer does qualify with an Ace and King or higher, your hand wins, you collect the ante (at 1 to 1) and the additional wager at the table posted odds. If the dealer's hand is higher, you forfeit the ante and your bet. Tied hands are a "push" and neither win or lose.
